Payment Methods

Add a payment method to pay for usage above the free tier. ClickSpot uses Stripe for secure payment processing.

Adding a Payment Method

  1. Go to Billing in the sidebar
  2. Click Add Payment Method
  3. You'll be redirected to Stripe's secure checkout
  4. Enter your card details
  5. Complete the checkout

After adding a payment method, you'll be redirected back to ClickSpot.

Updating Your Payment Method

To change your payment method:

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click Update Payment Method
  3. Enter new card details in Stripe's checkout

The new payment method replaces your existing one.

Accepted Payment Methods

Stripe accepts major credit and debit cards:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Discover

Additional payment methods may be available depending on your region and Stripe's supported options.

When You Need a Payment Method

A payment method is required when:

  • Your usage exceeds the free tier (10,000 redirects/month)
  • You want to ensure uninterrupted service

You can add a payment method at any time, even before exceeding the free tier.

Security

Your payment information is protected:

  • Stripe processing - We never see or store your full card details
  • PCI compliant - Industry-standard security
  • Encrypted - All payment data is encrypted in transit

Billing Email

Set a billing email on the Billing page to receive invoices and payment notifications. This can be different from your account email.
