- 4 variants: 25% / 25% / 25% / 25%
Custom Split
Adjust percentages for weighted distribution:
- Click on the percentage next to a variant
- Enter your desired percentage
- Other variants adjust automatically to total 100%
Common custom splits:
- 90/10 - Test a new page with minimal risk
- 70/30 - Give proven page more traffic while testing new
- 80/10/10 - Control with two small test variants

Tips for Effective Variants
- Use different UTM parameters - Add unique utm_content values to each variant for tracking in Google Analytics
- Test mobile pages - Ensure all variants work well on mobile devices
- Match expectations - Variant pages should still match the promise of your link
- Monitor regularly - Check results frequently in the first few days
Common Issues
Traffic Split Seems Wrong
Small sample sizes can show uneven distribution. With more clicks, percentages should approach your configured split. Wait for at least 100+ clicks before evaluating.
Can't Add More Variants
Maximum is 20 variants per link. If you need more options, create additional A/B test links.
Variant URL Redirect Issue
If a variant destination redirects, visitors go to the final URL. This is normal but may affect tracking. Use direct URLs when possible.
